I am still using Windows XP. I hear support is going to end in April for Windows XP, and I do not want to upgrade to Vista or Windows 7.

I have two hard drives on this computer, and I want to get a feel for Linux and install a Linux system on one of my hard drives.

Anyhow, what is a good Linux operating system? Which one is best for a newcomer to Linux?
