Repeated Routine Server Maintenance Freezes Mail?

On both XP (desktop) and Vista (laptop) I repeatedly receive the message, “due to routine server maintenance Yahoo! Mail must now reload.” This freezes my Mail, forcing me to reboot my ISP (Firefox). anyone else have this problem?

Does anyone know why there’s a constant interruption for ‘Due to routine maintenance, Yahoo Mail must now reload……
this damn window is popping up what seems every 20 minutes and I lose anything I’ve been working on!
I’m going to have to find a new mail service if this doesn’t stop with the constant lose of work…

When I contact Yahoo customer service, I get the answer ‘try now, it’s fixed.’ And it is for a week or so. I’m running OS 10.5.8 on a MacBook Pro, using Safari 5.0. is there anything I can do to avoid Yahoo’s bug? Thank you.

It is incredibly annoying to be dependent on Yahoo IM and get that “servers may be undergoing maintenance” message all the frickin day long. Especially since there is apparently no easy way to access information about what’s going on and when it might be back up.
