Should I learn C++ or Ruby ?January 5, 2011 – 9:00 pm
I am an absolute novice to programming. I am looking to learn programming for my own enjoyment/challenge. Does anybody have a suggestion between learning C++ or Ruby? I am not intending to get a job a a programmer or write for a living. I have read C++ is a great language but I have also heard it is very difficult to master. Could anyone give me a nudge in the right direction. as far as what types of programs I would like to write: maybe some games or utility type programs.
