iSSH app for iPad is the only SSH client in the App Store that supports tunneled VNC and X client connections as well as iPad cut and paste support! It can SSH and telnet emulator of VT100, VT102, VT220, ANSI, xterm, and xterm-color terminals integrated with tunneled a VNC client and an X server.
With iSSH, you can actually log in via SSH, do lots of real work, then go back to do whatever you was doing on the iPad. this app is worth every penny!
I had no trouble connecting to my various servers. The use of arrow keys is very easy and very responsive. You can even use control+[ as a meta key in emacs.
